Things to Do in San Diego

We’ve been attending IHRSA for 15 years and have accrued some helpful knowledge for first timers! Here is a little guide to everything you should see and do while in San Diego, plus tips and tricks for getting the most out of the trade show.

IHRSA Info:

The trade show starts Wednesday, Mar 18, 2020 and goes through Saturday, Mar 21, 2020 at the San Diego Convention Center. Make sure to have your badge. Let us know if you need help getting one still!

Things to do in San Diego:

• Beaches: San Diego is edged with seventy miles of beaches. La Jolla Cove is known for their stunning cliffs, pelicans and seals, and water where you can kayak or snorkel. Check out more of their amazing beaches here. 
• Balboa Park: In Balboa Park, you will find the San Diego Zoo, art museums, natural history museums, gift shops, botanical gardens, theaters, restaurants, and more.
• See the animals: The world famous San Diego Zoo is located right in Balboa Park and is home to over 3,700 animals. You can also head over to SeaWorld San Diego and watch dolphins and seals put on live shows. To see critters in nature you can visit San Diego National Wildlife Refuge.
• Gaslamp District: Downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter are at the heart of what’s happening. It is rich with cultural offerings including art galleries, theaters, concert venues, and museums. You can also find fountains, grassy lawns, coffee vendors, bars, and many restaurants. If you want to try some of the best rated, be sure to try out La Puerta, Ghirardelli Ice Cream, or The Oceanaire Seafood Room.
